Description

LED lighting requires a constant-current source to take advantage of the output and color. The benefit of using a buck converter is how easily it can be turned into a constant-current source. Read about selecting, or possibly exclusing, an output capacitor when designing a buck regulator for constant-current drive of HB LEDs.
