Introducing the Lynx Design System

Improving RTL-to-GDSII Design Efficiency with Lynx Design System This tutorial will introduce users to Synopsys’ new Lynx Design System, a complete and highly-automated SoC development platform that enables easier design flow definition, execution, monitoring and project reporting. We will demonstrate key features that improve designer productivity including: The ease of library and technology file validation and setup for tools using sample designs supplied with Lynx. GUI-based top- and block-level flow definition and customization with special emphasis on early stage design exploration using the flow editing features of Lynx. Execution of the defined flow and monitoring of the sample design progressing through the flow via Lynx’s Runtime Manager GUI Automated capture of design metrics and generation of reports for assessing project bottlenecks through Lynx’s Management Cockpit
